Description
  • Tired of seeing hundreds or thousands of MSFTPSVC events in your event log every day from hackers trying to get in to your Microsoft IIS FTP site? IIS logs filled to enormous proportions with attempts by every teenager with a computer and dictionary attack program? FTP Security completes Microsoft's FTP server built in to IIS 6.0 and above by provinding a powerful but flexibile utility that blocks out these kinds of attacks. Brute force hackers can cause problems even if they don't hack in to your FTP server by filling up your Windows Event Log and IIS logs with meaningless dictionary intrusion attempts. Even if you have the accounts disabled, these brute force attacks time time and resources to sort out.

  • FTP Security solves the problem by monitoring the IIS FTP service for intrusion attempts. Once an attempt is discovered (based on user-configurable parameters), FTP Security blocks the offending IP address from further attempts to log on to the FTP server.
Features

  • "Works great! My FTP daily log file is down from 70MB to 50K." - Brent
  • "What a great tool. Installed it on Server 2003, restarted IIS and voila several IP's were immediately in the Deny list. Well done and look forward to future releases. Thank you for writing an absolutely essential tool for IIS." - Mitchell
